All my life I have loved to work with wood. I would make a lot of what knots at first and them I started making lamps. As I was able to buy more tools throughout the years I knew that this was my true hobby.   I'm thinking I must of made a hundred bowls or more along with lamps and what knots who knows maybe more, I never kept track just liked doing it when I could.  Now at the age of 69 soon to be 70 I can do what I really like to do work with wood.
Just taking a piece of wood and working with it to see what I could make out of it.  !!What a Joy!!  I really didn't know what I was going to make till it was done. Sometimes it would be a bowl, maybe a lamp, or a what knot as I call it.  What knots are fun for me my wife uses them for trays, candy dishes, salad bowls, catch alls for keys and things.
In making all the little things I treasure over the years I really never felt that I was a craftsman in wood. I felt more like an amateur.  I stand corrected on this they say I am too much of a perfection in what I am doing to be an amateur.
Now my wife, family, and friends who have received my goods that I have created tell me your work is of your own creation, and you do quality work.  People would be willing to purchase your work in the event you would be willing to sell your products.   Although I truly do not feel worthy of what they tell me I let my wife talk me into placing my crafty creations on this website that she is building for me.

Later I will do work that is made to order.  At this time I just want to play.
